Our entire Ashby range is upholstered in a soft, textured polyester that has been designed to withstand the test of time and all that a busy life can throw at it.
Material composition:
Main material: 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion cover: 100% Polyester / 60% Viscose, 21% Polyester, 19% Cotton
Scatter cushion filling: Fibre-filled so they'll hold their shape and provide extra back support.
Material construction:
Frame: Featuring solid hardwood, our loveseat frames are built to last and not to creak, making it even easier for you to relax.
Seat base: Supported by a base of serpentine springs that help evenly spread the load of the seat, ensuring high levels of comfort and durability. The front edge is firm too, helping prevent sagging and adding another dimension of support.
Seat cushion: The reversible seat cushion has a foam Encore filling comprising three layers of foam (one core section between two domed sections). This means the seat cushion does not require plumping and will stay soft and comfortable for longer.
Back support: Braced at the back by highly resilient and flexible elastic webbing.
Back cushion: Reversible, sumptuously plump scatter cushions filled with fluffy fibres.
Feet: Beech feet with a grey wash finish.
Fabric
We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes
where real life happens. Sofas for all sizes of home, all kinds of interior, and for all kinds of
families.
Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish.
We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant
marks.
Sunlight
Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw
the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the
strongest sunlight.
