Furniture Guard

Tactile and soft polyester fabric upholstery ensures that our Eastbourne range is wonderfully cosy and doesn't compromise on durability. Available in a number of different colourways, this inclusive range has something for everyone. We use synthetic fabrics such as polyester in our upholstery for their versatility and ability to withstand the tests of time and real life.

Frame: Our sofas, armchairs, and footstools all come with a lifetime frame guarantee, as they feature solid hardwood and are designed not to creak or warp. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the support and comfort of well-made furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions and give them a supportive base that won't sag over time.

Seat cushion: Fixed cushions have a foam filling to keep their shape. Softened with polyester wadding, the seat is both resilient and comfy. Relax into a seat with a medium feel, not too firm, not too soft.

Back support: Serpentine springs spread the load and keep back cushions secure, so you get support and comfort just where you need it.

Back cushion: Foam is flexible and keeps cushions in shape. Polyester wadding adds subtle shaping, and soft fibres give that deep comfort.

Feet: Black glides.

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

The store staff were very helpful when we went to choose our sofa and chair. They arranged for our old furniture to be taken away and the new furniture to be delivered within a week. Both happened exactly as planned, and we were kept informed at every stage. We’re very happy with our new sofa and chair, and the quality looks good. We were lucky that we actually wanted the colour that was in stock, as there would have been a longer wait for other colours, but it was a very good experience overall. Recommended.

1)The seat is a bit high 2)It seems that the bracket that holds the backrest on the far right side is giving way and when sitting the backrest on that side moves backward, it should be kept straight.
