Malvern Style

Our modular Malvern range has a lovely, laid-back style. It's upholstered in fabric with a soft, textured touch. Together with the coordinating scatter cushions, it's really cosy and snuggly. Buy Malvern in a pre-arranged group, or add sections to create just the shape you want. The modules have sprung seat suspension, and they fit together with metal joining brackets. When put together, they make a comfy sofa that gives plenty of scope for relaxation. The range also includes a storage footstool, and a cuddler chair with matching half-moon footstool, too.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Furniture Guard

Upholstered in fabric with a soft, textured touch. Together with the coordinating scatter cushions, it’s really cosy and snuggly. We're choosy when it comes to our upholstery, using only the highest quality fabrics. All our fabrics are rated for heavy domestic use to stand up to the demands of family life. Our fabric sofas have flat weave fabrics which are hard wearing and luxurious to touch.

Main material: 81% Polyester, 19% Viscose
Scatter cushion cover: 100% Polyester / 56% Polyester, 40% Viscose, 4% Cotton / 100% Polyester
Scatter cushion filling: These fibre-filled cushions give extra cosiness. They're made to match the sofa range in style and colour, too.

Material construction:

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood. It forms part of a strong frame that's made to last - and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of a well-made sofa.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat cushions. A sprung platform with plenty of springs mean our sofas have great support at the base. That means no sagging - and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: Sink into the comfort of our foam-filled, fibre-topped seat cushions. Their plump-free design means they require minimal attention to stay looking their best.

Back support: Tensioned webbing keeps the back cushions in place. When you relax back at the end of the day, you want just the right kind of secure feeling that this gives.

Back cushion: These are fibre-filled and designed to keep their shape. Fibre is so luxurious when you want to settle back and relax.

Feet: Black glides

Keep fabric upholstery looking good with regular vacuuming and dusting. Give real wood legs a polish. We stock a fabric care kit, with specialist products for general cleaning, and for old or resistant marks.

Sunlight can cause upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight.

Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

Absolutely excellent sofa very pleased with it. After having our old sofa 10 years it was time for an upgrade and wow have we upgraded. Superbly comfortable and doesn’t loose shape with multiple people sitting on the sofa. We visited a lot of sofa outlets trying to find the right sofa and were about to give up the search but remembered, after having previous experience with the high quality and workmanship of oak furniture land pieces (previously a superking bed) that they also sold sofas. Buying in store with a member of the team was quick and easy she was very efficient and made sure we had everything we wanted. She was very knowledgeable about the product itself. We had the 5 year upholstery and frame guarantee aswell which no doubt will end up being a god send with 3 young children and 2 dogs. Delivery of the sofa was extremely fast (3 weeks after initially ordered) we were kept informed every step of the way via email and text messages. We also received a courtesy call 30 mins before delivery so no taking days off work. The delivery team were friendly and professional. All in all a wonderfully easy and stress free sofa purchase experience. We would 100% recommend oak furniture land to anyone looking to purchase items for the home they want to last
