Think about the room where your new sofa will be living. Will you want to have side tables at each end? Or will you want a coffee table in front? Check you can fit what you want comfortably by looking at the sofa measurements. They are within the Dimensions & Assembly section. Jot them down, and get busy with your tape measure.

Furniture Guard

Samson is upholstered in 100% real leather and available in a choice of nine neutral colours. This embossed leather has a uniform surface that is soft to the touch but also features a noticeable grain for added texture and interest. All this ensures our leather sofa will add a sophisticated feel to your home while offering practical and durable upholstery that's designed for real life.

Frame: All our sofa and armchair frames feature solid hardwood, resulting in sturdy furniture that is made to last and designed not to creak. Joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can enjoy the support and comfort of well-made seating.

Seat base: Serpentine springs spread the load of the seat, and foam keeps them in place. As we use more springs than most, our sofas have plenty of support at the base. That means no sagging and more comfort for you.

Seat cushion: Fixed cushions have a foam filling so that they keep their shape. Softened with polyester wadding, the seat is both resilient and comfy. Relax into a seat with a medium feel, not too firm, not too soft.

Back support: Elastic webbing works to spread weight evenly and provide a firm but flexible base for the fixed cushions.

Back cushion: Foam filling is flexible and keeps the fixed cushions in shape. Polyester wadding adds more subtle shaping and provides deep comfort.

Feet: Black glides.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.

Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

Seat base. Serpentine springs spread the load of seat cushions. We use more than most manufacturers, giving a stronger base for support.

Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

Back cushions. Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support classic high back looks and pillow back cushions alike, fibre-filled for sink-in comfort.

Scatter cushions. Most of our sofas come with feather or fibre-filled scatter cushions. Made to match particular sofa ranges, they add that extra bit of comfort.

Very relaxed but attentive team at Stirling made the whole buying experience very enjoyable! The was no pressure or pushing like you do in most stores, they took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us make the right decision. Nothing was too much trouble with them eagerly rearranging a sofa group so we could see what it would look like. Delivery was fast and efficient. They guys carefully brought the sofa into the house and carefully assembled it and demonstrated how to easily separate and rejoin the modular units as required. They took away all the packaging and made the whole process really easy!

In an ideal world the shops would be open and you’d be able to try these things out before buying, it’s OK, not exactly stylish or that comfy but it’s well made, seems to be good quality materials, delivery was efficient and within just a few days of ordering, just disappointing that it’s rock hard and doesn’t look as nice as the pics. It’s narrow and not a sofa you can curl up on. Wasn’t really good value to be honest but we’re gonna have to stick with it now.

Lovely sofa! East to put together - took longer to take the packaging off than putting it together. The delivery guys were amazing. The boxes would not fit though our front door so they unboxed these in the street and managed to get this in the door!

Bought this for a new extension which was to be used as a family room. Didn’t want anything too expensive and something hard wearing as would be quite heavily used by young family.
