Our Turin 2-seater sofa is characterised by a deep seat, soft and tactile leather upholstery, and wide, padded arms, all of which make it an extremely cosy place to relax after a long day. Formerly known as Palermo, this sofa has been redesigned to be delivered in two parts: the back and the main body. This means that this generously proportioned 2-seater sofa is now even easier to deliver and requires minimal assembly upon arrival in your room of choice.

For a smooth delivery, this sofa has been designed to have some home assembly. Full instructions are supplied.

Our Turin range is upholstered in beautiful leather with a subtle glossy finish, resulting in a luxurious overall look. Soft to the touch, this leather is rated for heavy domestic use, so it'll look great for years to come.

Frame: Our lifetime frame guarantee covers all our sofas, sofa beds, armchairs, and footstools, all of which feature solid hardwood and are designed not to creak or warp. All joints are strongly fixed using classic carpentry skills, so you can relax and enjoy the high-quality support and comfort of a well-made piece of furniture.

Seat base: Serpentine springs and elastic webbing work together to form a seat that evenly distributes weight and prevents sagging.

Seat cushion: Each fixed seat cushion has a firm foam core wrapped in soft polyester fibres.

Back support: Elastic webbing provides a springy yet supportive base for the fixed back cushions.

Back cushion: Each fixed back cushion is filled with a firm foam core encased in soft polyester wadding.

Feet: Yellow poplar feet.

Leather

We choose our upholstery materials to look good, feel good, and to last. We make sofas for real homes. They’re sofas that look good where real life happens. Sofas for all kinds of interior, for all kinds of families.

Our leather sofas are covered in leather all over, including sides and back. Most of our upholstery is corrected grain leather. This is leather that’s been treated to have a uniform surface, but still keeps its natural look.

Keep your leather upholstery looking good with regular dusting and a light polish. We have a leather care kit available with a soft cleaner and leather protection cream.

Sunlight can cause leather upholstery to fade. If your sofa is placed in a sunny part of the room, maybe draw the curtains at the sunniest times of day, or have a colourfast throw to shield the sofa from the strongest sunlight. Heat from radiators can cause leather to crack. Make sure there’s enough air circulating between a radiator and leather furniture.

Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

Seat base. Serpentine springs spread the load of seat cushions. We use more than most manufacturers, giving a stronger base for support.

Seat cushions. Foam and fibre fillings are used in different ways across our ranges. Choose from styles with firmer comfort or cushions that are luxuriously soft.

Back cushions. Our sofas come in different styles. Tensioned webbing and superloop back springs support classic high back looks and pillow back cushions alike, fibre-filled for sink-in comfort.

Scatter cushions. Most of our sofas come with feather or fibre-filled scatter cushions. Made to match particular sofa ranges, they add that extra bit of comfort.
