Materials & Care

Our Milner range is upholstered in durable, woven polyester with a soft, slightly textured feel, while each scatter cushion cover is a polyester and linen mix. We're always choosy when it comes to materials, so our fabrics are high-quality, rated for heavy domestic use, and are designed to withstand the demands of hectic family life while remaining stylish, snug, and easy to care for.

Scatter cushion filling: Our Milner 3-seater sofa comes with two decorative scatter cushions. Fibre-filled, the cushion will hold its shape well to add to your comfort as well as the sofa's aesthetic.

Material construction:

Frame: A solid hardwood frame ensures our Milner 3-seater sofa strong and sturdy making it ideal for a busy household where an armchair can sometimes double up as a climbing frame.

Seat base: A clever combination of serpentine springs and silent wire means that weight is always distributed evenly. So, no matter where on the sofa you sit, there'll be no sagging and even more supportive comfort for you.

Seat cushion: Our Milner sofa seat cushions are foam-filled and permanently plumped up by a comfy polyester wrap. You can also keep your sofa looking fresh by occasionally turning the reversible seat cushions.

Back support: We understand the importance of having a well-supported back, so our Milner sofas have sturdy hardwood backs that are built to last.

Back cushion: With fibre-filled back cushions, our Milner sofas combine high-quality support with a plump, luxurious feel. Keep your sofa looking fresh by occasionally turning the conveniently reversible back cushions.

Feet: Our sofa has 4 slim, slightly tapered round beech wood feet that raise it off the ground for a light and airy look.

    Sofas start with the frame. All of our sofa frames come with a lifetime guarantee, as we incorporate hardwood into every one and fix all joints with classic carpentry skills to prevent creaking.

I was very happy to recieve the sofa after waiting the 6 weeks for delivery, however I was immediatly dissapointed to discover that the colour is vastly different from what is shown in the product pictures. Beware if ordering the Teal colour. The pictures make it look like a very deep and rich green, when in fact the actual colour is much more like the name, a bright and very bluey teal. (see the attached photos for an idea of the acurate colour) Ive gotten used to it now, though I am still dissapointed, as I had bought cushions and a throw to match the green colour that I was anticipating. Apart from this, the sofa is generally good. The seat is quite deep and you can sit quite far back. The arms however are solid wood with a thin bit of material over them. So bare in mind you will need some thick cushions to place over the arms as they are very hard and uncomfortable without. The 2 throw cushions it comes with are quite low quality, the stitched pattern is actually just a print of stitching, which gives quite a cheap look so I am not using them. They did come free though so I cant complain about them too much. Overall it is a good sofa, maybe not quite worth the price, and the images for the teal colour need updating to something more accurate to avoid more dissapointed customers.

Delighted with sofa, exact colour , sooooo comfortable, certainly value for mkk or net. Staff in showroom were exemplary, nothing was to much trouble for them .. even had a coffee with them, Downside … delivery was exactly in time but the actual men (2) were not very good, manage to extract seal of the day from one guy, second one never spoke at all … just did the minimum required of them I.e. put into desired room .. (dumped) !! Perhaps it’s because I am elderly, on two sticks. !! who knows .
