This stunning rustic king-size bed has a frame crafted from solid oak in a traditional farmhouse style and sprung birch slats to improve the quality of your sleep and the life of your mattress.

The Original Rustic range features gently rounded corners and chamfered edges with wooden dowel detailing. The oak frame is finished with wax to create the look of a well-cared-for antique and is marginally darker than our other oak ranges, while the hardwood slats have a slight bend for enhanced support and to take some pressure off your mattress internals.

Will It Fit?

Choosing the right piece of furniture for your home is a big decision. Not only does it need to look good and do the job it was made to do, but it also needs to fit.

To fit with your interior style, to fit with your home needs, and most importantly, to fit with the dimensions of your room. If the piece of furniture is near a doorway, which way does the door open? Is the item going to be restricting the route in and out of the room? Is there a radiator on the wall, or a windowsill jutting out that you need to factor in when measuring the item’s height?

The final important measurement to mention, is to ensure your new piece of furniture can fit through your front door when it gets delivered! Most items arrive assembled and boxed. This is a very solid well-made bed. Delivery was exactly on time and completed quickly and efficiently. I assembled the bed myself which was very straightforward with clear directions. The price was a bit higher than competitors, but delivery was only 2 weeks after order - so well worth the slightly higher price. Overall delighted with this product

I was really impressed with this piece of furniture. Very solidly made. great joinery and very simple to assemble. I thought that this was the best made piece of self assembly furniture that I have ever bought. Really pleased with the quality, shame about the kerfuffle with the delivery date at your end, that was the only thing that ruined the experience.

Bed was constructed one week ago and do far so good. I like it. Only issue in its construction was the allan key : screws were not all a good fit, as a result some of the screws are now damaged so the bed can't be dismantled and rebuilt if I move house, but otherwise it seems good so far. But i would wait at least a year to see how it goes. Edit after 2 years: bed still holding up. Love it
